In collaboration with Steven Johnson, Architecture Ensemble.
A small serviced building for the full-time gardener and attendant, comprising a bothy and tool store. The simple construction comprises 50mm Spruce ply structural panels exposed internally, wrapped with wood fibre insulation and weatherproofed using Sweet Chestnut rainscreen and EPDM roofing. The painted joinery is manufactured using Accoya acetylsed timber, offering excellent design life and stability.
