A covered outdoor space with integrated lighting for visitors to relax, on simple seating or reclined in a hammock.
The design interprets a grove of graceful trees, rising and branching to support a perforated canopy of overlapping leaves. The canopy sheds water but admits and emits light between the overlapping leaves, enlivening the structure internally (during the day) and externally (at night).
